This Monday, the 14th of December CAT eLearning 2.0.0 was finally certified for release on all relevant platforms!
2.0.0 is by far our biggest and most substantial release to date!
And to get a better understanding of how significant this update is, here’s a list of only the most notable changes and additions introduced with this new version:

- Keyboard Shortcuts and Tooltips for almost every Function on Windows and macOS
- Improved Text Selection
- Quick Access Tools from Active Selection
- Scaling/Rotation Options for all Annotations
- Improved Document Outline Widget
- Thumbnail Widget now shows User Annotations
- New Document Viewing Options (Single/Double Page View, Continuous Scrolling Option, Light/Dark/Beige Page Display)
- Individual Page Rotation Option in every Document
- Light and Dark System Themes
- Improved Document Version Management
- Ability to delete all Annotations for specific Document Versions
- Added a new User Menu with an Overview of all assigned Documents, Courses and registered Devices of the current User
- Last Read Document Tab
- Individual Reading Progress Tracking for every Document
- Automatic Resume at most recent Page
- Automatic Migration of Legacy Annotations
And while this is not an exhaustive list of everything that has changed, most of these features were specifically requested by our users over the last 12 months, with many more new features still on the way, that just didn’t make it into this release in time.
